I called in and spoke to George Noory in mid-April 2007. I am trying to alert people to the fact that the real Maitreya (not the fake one that Benjamin Creme made-up) is here in Redondo Beach. George said he'd like to interview him. The show's producer Tom then told me "I'll call you Monday." He never called. We then e-mailed a few times and he basically said he was busy and may or may not ever call. This is urgent.
It's my opinion that the show has a responsibility to interview the real Maitreya, now that they have given hours and hours of air time to the false teachings of Benjamin Creme. They have (even if unintentionally) led people astray. What does it take to get an interview set up? Can anyone here also e-mail and call and request ? Maybe that would help.

Re: the real Maitreya
Fri, October 12, 2007 - 5:27 AMIt makes perfect sense to students of religion. That's what makes it so scarey to me. And I don't huff glue. I have heard about Benhamin Creme and his Maitreya for years. It seems like they are too old. For years now I have thought that Maitreya will be someone else. I am truly seeking more information on the "real Maitreya" Shraddha posted about. -

Re: the real Maitreya
Fri, October 12, 2007 - 11:02 AMthe real deal wont be hopping around in a white robe at fortuitous times to be seen. its like people who give charity at christmas- some do- anonomysly- and some do it right in front of everyone- to be seen- and pat themselves on the back for doing so. one of them is NOT charity.
get the drift?

I was a world religion major, and the extent to which it "makes sense" to me is zero.
I have issues with the "perfect master" thing... I would not buy that from anyone who
did not animately refuse being called such.
if they are helping people- that sure looks good, but I have never known of such a case that was
not followed by the assertion that the people given aid should follow a different path... theirs.
all the fucking babas , gurus, masters and the rest of the like are vermin as far as I am concerned.
actually, no, I have more respect and general regard for rats, buzzards and flies.

Re: the real Maitreya
Fri, October 12, 2007 - 7:06 PMTotally Travis.
And I agree with you too cp. But I am interested in this Maitreya thing because I have been since I was very young. Alot of Christians think Maitreya is the Anti-Christ. Just because I'm interested in the subject doesnt mean I am for him. It fascinates me because supposedly one day there will be a new Christ that will be known as the Maitreya Buddah Christ thingy / whatever and he will supposedly bring peace to the world and solve all the worlds problems. There is alot of disagreement between Christians and non Christians over whether this is a good thing or not. I'm sort of neutral on it I guess. But I am interested in learning of some new Maitreya that I have never heard of before for sure. Somehow I don't think the real Maitreya, if there is such a person, will come from California. That would be totally cool if Snoop Dogg was Maitreya and didnt even know it. lol

Re: the real Maitreya
Tue, January 6, 2009 - 12:36 PMIf you are speaking of Ron "Buddha Maitreya" Spencer, for your own best interests, I encourage you to do some research into him first.
Whether he is authentic or not is highly in doubt in the internet community:
Public Opinions and Discussions
www.rickross.com/reference...hala1.html (analysis of his site and validity)
This article highlights his past and his recent emergence into the mainstream cult media in 2002: www.cultnews.com/archives/000281.html
This one was probably planted, but shows no supporting factual evidence for the claims made : forum.rickross.com/read.php
guruphiliac.blogspot.com/2006/...t.html
www.dharmaling.org/forums/l...index.php
Confirming Evidence?
I would think that, if Ron were confirmed as the Buddha Matreya, the following sites would mention it:
maitreyaproject.org/en/maitr...ndex.html
www.buddhamaitreyacenter.org/
Only on his own sites:
Related to this, I found no solid body of evidence on the internet showing any factual support for his claims, other than on his own sites, which are:
www.buddhamaitreya.org
soultherapy.com
www.shambhalahealingtools.com/
www.buddhamaitreya.co.uk/ (oh no, wait, this is ANOTHER Maitreya...oops)
